A Word from Mist Frost

What should be the true focus of a human lifetime?
It is not the mere preservation of the physical body. It is the cultivation of character, sensation, and perception—all shaped through life’s profound lessons. Through our experiences and accumulated knowledge, we form the "thoughts" that weave directly into our daily reactions, evolving as we navigate our own emotional unsteadiness.
Every day, our emotions fluctuate. Why do they rise and fall? Why do they so often hijack our thoughts, pushing us beyond our own control, especially when dealing with attached relationships—with the people who matter to us, those we care for, and those we must cope with?
Mastering this emotional state is the true metric of our conscious growth. The inner stability of our thoughts serves as the very foundation of our living. Through the constant interaction of inputting and outputting, our character begins to reflect deliberate actions—born from our profound ability to rewrite the self, taking raw consciousness and transforming it into actual life.
Living is a dynamic energy that demands constant self-adjusting. To reach a higher civilization, we must learn to read ourselves, not just others; we must understand why we act the way we do, and how we produce our own reality. Yet, we are always capable of making these adjustments, whether before or after the fact, because everything ultimately circles back to the source from which it began. If a journey is rooted in pure intention, its return must carry that exact same purity. The self was born to extend outward. This enlargement of the self happens when we embrace the knowledge of our many selves, finally achieving true self's unity.
Only with this clarity, step by step, can we build our ladder to higher consciousness, knowing that all growth ultimately serves the initial purpose of returning.
The true journey is to harvest the core self from the multitude of selves. We must first harvest the steady, grounded energy of the self—only then can we extend our mind outward to reach the soul-heart self.
The mind cannot live far, but the soul does, and the old soul has been living and traveling far, extending across the universe.
Personal growth is often just the process of accumulation. Yet we must ask: what are we collecting that dictates our happiness, triggers our anger, or leaves us too broken to move forward? Losing oneself to these burdens is unacceptable. When the self falls apart, we lose the ultimate purpose of our return. When our emotions spiral out of control, we must halt this reckless energy and seek guidance. We need higher clarity—a steadfast moral compass that knows firmly what we should and should not do.
The pure essence of intelligent awareness does not arrive instantly. Through countless gatherings of experience, we transform emotional turmoil into profound understanding, allowing life’s deepest hardships to become enduring wisdom, rather than lasting wounds carried heavily by the heart.
My child, it takes time to grow out of it.
